Welcome My Fellow Deplorables
This is my first blog entry, so it will be short and sweet. I want to welcome you all to my poetry and art in this new platform. Yesterday I read a poem from an inspiring poet, who is promoting the idea, that the new generation should “tear it down”, in regards to the ideas and history of our past.

“THE HILL WE CLIMB” VS “THE HILL WE CREATED”
Amanda Gorman recited the poem “The Hill We Climb” at the inauguration event of Joe Biden in January 2021. The poem was written during the USA Presidential Election, 2020. It was written in response to the great storming of the US Capitol. At its heart, the poem upholds the lesson

At its heart, the poem upholds the lesson for unity and togetherness in American society. Additionally, it also emphasizes the opportunities that the upcoming time offers. In response to Amanda Gorman, I wrote a poem “The Hill We Created”. However, Amanda wrote from a progressive view, the deplorable poet’s response is Libertarian. It states that we must take

Critic vs. me
I hear you every time my quill slips simple typos overlooked by a racing mind Many degrees under my belt yet my intelligence is questioned whenever my dysgraphia flairs up To the critic I understand you adore the opportunity to post your nasty comments in order for the world to acknowledge your gramatical skills Bravo! Bravo! Content however evaded you as you were to focused on the small things rather than seeing the picture as a whole Creativity reads between the lines and uses rules as challenges to break I understand your not getting it I did not think you

Cancelled Culture
Fascist Hooks Cancels culture Telegraphic Speech Carefully Scripted From a Wuhan’s Lab Hollywood Script must get a nod from the mouth that bank rolls our stimulus checks as the puppet’s son makes a new deal in front of the nose of Uncle Sam We climbed the Hill to the lies of our care takers with Mitch leading the way No one expected the mount to be made of sand Nothing is free with every dollar spent a right has been quietly taken away Yesterday the act of kneeling during the national anthem was accepted as a social voice today respecting

Post Turkey Day Blog
This Year I have a lot to be thankful for. My prayers are for those who have suffered under the pandemic. Though this has been a trying year, it has been one where as a poet, I have been able to define myself as a writer and an investigator. Great things are happening and only greater things to come.

Nemesis
Happy Sunday Deplorables! Another week has ended and a new one has began. Wanted to share another one of my 5 minute poems. I was reflecting on my childhood this morning, and this came to me. We are all soldiers in this reality. I believe in self made destiny. I believe that our spoken words create our fate. This poem I think reflects this: Nemesis Nemesis Kept from nosey eyes in the dark corner of an unfinished basement are secrets nestled in an imaginary chest box Decades later perceptions distorted shame unevenly placed leaves guilt as the keyholder to the

Happy Saturday Deplorables!
Greetings Deplorables! Today I want to honor Silvia Plath. Confessional Poetry became an evolving style in the 50’s and 60’s. Silvia Plath was an incredible confessional poet that brought heart and emotions to the reader. The 1960’s were known as a social revolution in America, writers like Silva Plath opened a pathway where content that before were hidden in secret, became open for society to see. “Ariel” which was published posthumously, was one of the most inspirational poetic pieces that myself have ever read. I encourage you to take the time to read and reflect. Grab a glass of wine,

Happy Deplorable Veteran Day!
I am unapologetic for being a patriot. I am a Veteran that served in the US Army. I think my perception of many poets, are those who have seen the world without the grit and realism that a Soldier sees. Obviously not all poets fit in a neat Idealistic progressive package. I am one of those that don’t. True American, True Patriot. As writers we are called to express our ink with the experiences, emotions that life has brought us. Hopefully a few readers relate during this pilgrimage. Though I am a true believer in Social and Restorative Justice, the

Haunting Halloween Deplorables!
To Honor the Father of Horror I am posting the Tell Tale Heart. Please read and then read my parody. Enjoy! True! –nervous –very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad? The disease had sharpened my senses –not destroyed –not dulled them. Above all was the sense of hearing acute. I heard all things in the heaven and in the earth. I heard many things in hell. How, then, am I mad? Hearken! and observe how healthily –how calmly I can tell you the whole story. It is impossible to

Here is a Haiku, I just wrote. My advertising company wanted me to create one for the the deplorable facebook page. Tell me what you think. CYBERBULLYING Cyberbullying Reveals a hidden monster Within you and me —– the deplorable poet

Writing on the Fly
Deplorables, today I will share with you as to how I write. This poem is being written within 5 minutes of when it was started. Most of my poems are written very quickly and come from images that come across my mind. I write better without putting too much thought into my words. So here we go: Fork In the Road Up until this point I have done a pretty good job in paving my way to Hell In contrast the spirit in the sky has paved a way for me to get to heaven I am Still at a

Happy Sunday Deplorables!
Today is a wonderful day! Everyday is a beautiful day for someone. So why not claim this day to be beautiful and successful for yourself? Every few entries of this blog, will be used to promote a great poet. Poetry if given a chance, provides a valuable influence in how we live, learn and model ourselves to others. This is Walt Whitman week. Walt Whitman was a powerful poet that believed that poetry not only influences an individual, but also shapes and describes society. Walt was a Libertarian who believed that every individual had/has the right to live in freedom.

Welcome My fellow Deplorables!
This is my first blog entry, so it will be short and sweet. I want to welcome you all to my poetry website. I am excited in having the opportunity to share my poetry and art in this new platform. Yesterday I read a poem from an inspiring young poet, who is promoting the idea, that the new generation should “tear it down”, in regards to the ideas and history of our past. I almost threw up reading this. The thing is, if we erase the past, how can we learn from our mistakes? I see some dark roads in

Oak Tree Concerto
In Light Of Said Events I am the mirror to your reflection Like Lingonberry seeds screaming to dance to the moonlight of a midsummer night’s dream so is the awaken contemplation of Regret Acid Reflux invades slumber as Hamlet’s Ghost acts as a conductor to the symphony of Apathy The strings of Sorrow drowns out the flute of Joy haunting the performance of this motionless soul on a Repetitious Soundtrack In retrospect Climbing up too close to GOD only caused The Trees to Shake Thus raining Acorns of Melancholy Upon this Concerto It is the hope though that since the

If We Could Be There
Blue Skies diversion to my pain Silent voices scream Echoes smother words that cannot be heard Hell’s rain black with toxin designed to intimidate the senses Take a step back and think….. If we could be there You holding my hand Like a toddler with no worry in the world As your strong hand grasps mine If we could be there Where green fields conquer a cold steel rail A cool breeze swallows hot air An Ocean replaces the fish bowl Leaving our souls to scatter freely in a never ending Great Deep Searching peacefully For the Octopus’s garden where

Good Bye 2020
Dear Deplorables It is time to say good bye to 2020. It has been a tragedy for many. The Pandemic has caused many to get sick and has allowed governments to exert social control. I believe the latter has caused much more harm. It takes great writers to influence our society back to the importance of allowing individual freedoms while encouraging individual responsibility. Shame and Guilt advertising, really has no place in a true democracy and it serves as another tool that divides humanity. You can not force others to act in a way you see fit, and attempting to,
